Ingredients -
- Oil
- Garlic
- Onions
- Eggs
- Tomatoes (small amount)
- Cooked jasmine rice
- Chinese broccoli (or bak choy)
- Meat (chicken, pork)
- Light soy sauce
- Dark soy sauce
- Fish sauce
- White sugar (optional)
- White pepper
Preparation -
Garlic - chopped or crushed in mortar and pestle.Onions - sliced in sections
Chinese broccoli (or bak choy) - cut into sections
Jasmine rice - cooked and cooled; frying hot rice can cause the fried rice to become soggy.
Cooking Instructions -
- Place oil in wok.
- Add garlic and onions before the oil is heated and cook until garlic is golden brown.
- Add meat and fry until cooked through.
- Add eggs and fry lightly.
- Add jasmine rice and fry until all ingredients mixed through.
- Add Chinese broccoli (or bak choy) and tomatoes.
- Season with light and dark soy (and sugar which is optional), fish sauce, white pepper.
